As per Chennai Institute of Technology admissions 2023 notifications, NTA has released the JEE Main 2023 session 1 results on February 7, 2023. Candidates can check the results by visiting ntaresults.nic.in and entering their application number and date of birth. The Chennai Institute of Technology cutoff 2023 will be released after the declaration of JEE Main 2023 session 2 results.

Chennai Institute of Technology (CIT), Chennai, was established in 2010. It was established by the trust called Parthasarathy Seeniammal Educational Trust. It is among one the best Institutes in Tamil Nadu and India. Chennai Institute of Technology is approved by AICTE and affiliated with Anna University, Chennai. Chennai Institute of Technology fees range from Rs 50,000 to 2,20,000 making it very reasonable for obtaining education more accessible to every student.   • Students need to have 45% for General Category, 40% for OBC/SC/ST Category aggregate marks in 10+2, and a valid TNEA score to take admission in CIT Chennai UG courses
  • For ME CAD/CAM, students need to have a BE or B.Tech degree in the field of Mechanical/ Automobile/ Manufacturing/ Production/ Industrial/ Mechatronics/ Marine/ Aeronautical with a minimum of 50% in the general category, and 45% is reserved category and valid GATE/TANCET score.
  • For ME Applied Electronics, students need to have a BE or B.Tech degree in EEE/ECE/Electronics/E&I/I&C/Instrumentation/Biomedical/Biomedical Instrumentation with a minimum of a 50% in the general category and 45% in the reserved category and valid GATE/TANCET score.
  • For ME Computer Science Engineering, students need to have a BE or B. Tech degree in the field of EEE/ECE/ Electronics/IT/CSE/I&C/E&I/Instrumentation or MCA or M.Sc. of 5 years integrated program in the area of IT/CS/Software Engineering with a minimum of a 50% in general category and 45% in the reserved category and valid GATE/TANCET score.
  • For Lateral entry, a student must have a minimum of 45% for the general category and 40% for the reserved category in their average fifth and sixth semester of diploma.

Every year, the Chennai Institute of Technology admission for UG and PG courses begins in January. However, candidates who are interested in a particular course can apply online. 

  • B.E and B.Tech admission is based on the percentage of marks obtained in 10+2. And marks scored in TNEA.
  • Lateral entry admissions are also available for the B.Tech program. The eligibility is a diploma after grade 10 (10+3).
  • M.E admission is also based on the percentage obtained in the relevant stream and GATE/TANCET score.
